Golfing Short Breaks & Holidays

Briers Property Rentals are delighted to be able to announce that we are partnering with the teams at Nefyn Golf Club and Porthmadog Golf Club to offer you a fabulous Golfing Short Break or Holiday package.

Your Golfing packing includes accommodation at one of our luxury apartments located in nearby Criccieth and Porthmadog and tee times booked for you on your days of choice, subject to availability.

There is also an option to add transport to and from the golf course for bookings of between four and six guests.

Nefyn Golf Club

Nefyn Golf Club, nestled along the picturesque coastline of North Wales, stands as a beacon of tradition, challenge, and natural beauty. Established in 1907, this historic club has earned its reputation as one of the most stunning and revered golfing destinations in the United Kingdom. Set against the backdrop of Snowdonia National Park, its spectacular views of the Irish Sea offer an experience that captivates both seasoned golfers and casual enthusiasts alike.

The 18 hole Championship Course offers golfers a rich variety of breath-taking views and scenery and also a constantly changing set of challenges which require, if at all possible, the golfers full attention. The front nine runs along the rugged coastline, whilst the back nine is a more inland, where the plentiful bunkers and gorse bushes add challenge to the wider, more forgiving fairways.

The world famous ‘Point’, which offers 9 holes of breathtaking golf, winds its way along the rugged coastline, presenting golfers with a formidable test of skill amidst the unpredictable coastal winds and undulating terrain.

Due to the significant increase in pedestrian activity along the footpaths leading to Porthdinllaen, the ‘Point’ can only be played as a free extra 9 holes when paired with the 18 hole Championship Course, and is currently only available for specific, allocated tee times during the year. If you want to play the ‘Point’ we suggest you avoid the summer holidays and other busy times like weekends or school holidays throughout the year

Beyond its scenic splendour, Nefyn Golf Club prides itself on its warm hospitality and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer seeking a memorable challenge or a newcomer looking to experience the joy of the game amid stunning surroundings, Nefyn Golf Club promises an unforgettable experience for all who visit.

The clubhouse opens from 0830hrs each morning and you can use the ladies’ and gents’ locker rooms and purchase a coffee from the Rijo 42 coffee machine.

After a round of golf why not sit in the dining room or lounge and enjoy a tasty offering while enjoying the lovely views.  The kitchen core hours are from 9am to 4pm during the winter and 9am to 6pm from Easter to the end of October, and food can be pre-booked.

There is also a spike bar for a more informal atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy a drink at your leisure.

If you’re intrigued by the allure of Nefyn Golf Club and eager to learn more about our Golfing Short Break or Holiday packages, we warmly invite you to get in touch with us or visit us at the British Golf Show at Wycombe Air Park – May 17th & 18th.
